- No more than 4 original words in a row.
- Sentences must make sense though they don't have to be serious - school appropriate!!
- Cut and splice however you want - combine syllables to create different words.

1. Choose a song, your style, sound, genre - recreate the song in a different style and sound.
2. Your remix should keep the essence of the song intact. The same basic melody so the song is recognizable. In other words you are taking another song and re-arranging it. An example would be remix Thriller by Michael Jackson into a string quartet, or take a country song and remix it into a heavy metal song.
3. Write a paragraph (WORD doc) and identify the song and the band/composer and describe the major changes you made to the song. Submit the paragraph with your remix in the Assignment 9 folder.
4. Bounce to disc and submit to the Assignment 9 folder.

3. Create a song using only the sounds your recorded and sampled. You may manipulate them in any way you choose such as: loop, reverse, pitch/time shift, reverb, delay, flange, chorus.
4. Bounce to disc and submit to the Assignment 10 Folder.

*This assignment will also be submitting in its entirety as a Pro Tools folder. Because you cannot submit another folder to the assignment folder a flash drive will be provided for you to transfer the folder to Mr. White.
